Drafting, vetting, and negotiating contractual agreements entered into by and on behalf of the company with its stakeholders, such as NDA, Sponsorship Agreement, Service Provider Contract/agreement, Engagement Letter, Distribution agreements, Purchase/Sale Agreement, and other corporate agreements.
Assist the internal compliance department in regular legal and compliance matters. Draft and review Term Sheets to be entered into with Investees of AIF. Knowledge of Portfolio Management Service-related agreements. Will have to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Fundraise, Investment Team, Compliance Officer, Human Resources Team, and senior executives, to ensure compliance with best practices.
Draft and review various corporate-level policies and assist in general corporate matters. Collaborate with external legal and finance teams as necessary. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal matters related to AIFs’ investee companies. Represent the company’s interests in transaction-related documents. Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation, contracts, and records pertaining to real estate transactions.
Draft various corporate-level policies and engagement letters for various stakeholders. Identify potential legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate such risks, ensuring the protection of the company’s interests. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Law or Real Estate Law is a plus. Proven experience working as a Legal Executive or in a similar role in the real estate industry or a related field. Strong understanding of real estate laws, AIF, PMS regulations, contractual, and commercial laws.
Familiarity with asset management practices and procedures in the real estate sector. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in legal research and the use of legal databases and resources. Membership in a relevant legal professional body or association is preferred. Knowledge of local and national real estate regulations and laws.
