About the Role

This is an exciting client facing opportunity for someone with a strong interest in residential real estate focused investments. The role provides high ownership and responsibility across all parts of the investment cycle including (a) sourcing, (b) evaluating of new investment opportunities, (c) monitoring existing investments, and (d) achieving successful exits.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Assist origination efforts through preparation of client pitches, term sheets, etc. covering various financial and structuring aspects through an extensive network of funds, brokers, international property consultants, asset owners and other intermediaries

  • Support end-to-end execution of transactions encompassing project appraisal, site visits, financial analysis including preparation of detailed financial models, credit structuring, conducting due-diligence, negotiating and finalising legal documentation

  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders including external client teams, legal, technical & ESG consultants and internal teams coverage, credit, finance, legal, compliance, operations etc.

  • Prepare investment committee memo and assist in the approval process

  • Monitor closed transactions through the entire life-cycle until exit – annual credit reviews, performance deviations, developer engagement, sales realizations, etc.


  • Minimum 3-5 years of private credit investment experience with a preference for residential real estate

  • Possess strong analytical skills with proven success in a role that provides research and interpretation of the market environment, opportunities and investment strategies with respect to primary investments.

  • Self-starter, strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed

  • Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills with an ability to communicate effectively

  • Strong network with local brokers and International Property Consultants (IPCs) as well as developers

  • High on emotional intelligence with an ability to understand stakeholder expectations

  • Strong business sense and real estate industry expertise

  • Good Micro-Market knowledge for the city

  • Graduate with a preference for MBA from a tier 1/tier 2 college
